Charger Tips and Tricks

If the bus or charger light is red or off, do the following:

Unplug the charger, wait 30 seconds, and reinsert the charger

If the LED light on the charger is any color other than green or white, follow your company's issue reporting procedures.

After the charging session is complete, do the following:

Insert the charger handle into the holster
Coil up the cord to prevent accidental damage

Charging session

Before walking away from the bus/charger, confirm that the bus has started charging or is in the queue to do so

It is very important to take an extra 60 seconds to confirm the charger and the bus have made a charging connection and is charging (blinking white) or is in the que to charge (solid white).

Sequential charging

In this set up, each power cabinet will provide power to only one charger at a time

Chargers labeled with a letter and the same corresponding number will all be associated with the same power cabinet and will charge one after the other, ex: 1A, 1B, 1C
The first bus plugged in will charge first until it has reached the predetermined state of charge. Once complete, the next bus to plug in will begin to charge automatically and so on

If you unplug a neighboring bus to move your bus ahead in the charging queue, remember to reconnect the neighboring bus’s charger so that they can keep their spot in line for the charging session.
