12V Battery Jump 

Charging the 12V battery does not charge the high-voltage system. The vehicle will not start if the 12V battery is dead, even if the HV batteries have a healthy SOC. In order to restart the vehicle, the 12V battery must be jump-started.

Weekly Maintenance

• Verify the functionality of interior and exterior lights
• Inspect low-voltage battery performance
• Activate and inspect exterior lamps and hazard warning lights for correct operation
• Verify horn operation
• Check windshield washer spray and wiper operation and replace blades as needed
• Check the following fluid levels, and fill if low: 
  • Brakes
  • Coolant reservoir 
  • Power steering 
  • Windshield washer

• Inspect suspension and framework for damage, cracks or leaks
• Inspect steering and linkage system
• Inspect tire tread wear and correct pressure if needed
• Check windshield for cracks, chips, or pits
• HV and LV harnesses for wear and securement
• Check the following for cracks/leaks/damage:
  • Transmission 
  • Radiator 
  • A/C hoses 
  • Heater
