Starting and Ending a Charging session

Verify that the bus parking brake is on and the key is in the “Off” position. Bus can charge while on, when needed for pre-heating or cooling
Make sure the charger is powered on and available to charge
Remove the handle from the holster on the charger
Inspect the connector and the cable for debris or damage
Open the charge port door on the bus, remove the dust cover, make sure the area is clean and free of dirt and debris
Plug the connector into the charge port and listen for a "click" sound, indicating that the port is securely locked in place
Charging begins automatically when the connector is plugged into the vehicle, unless a scheduled charge is set, or if the vehicle is already fully charged (refer to the LED Codes article for details)
When the charger and the vehicle have made a connection, you'll notice the LED on the charger will initially display light blue. This indicates that the charger is ready to begin charging. Once the vehicle has accepted the charging process, the light will change to a blinking darker blue
Before walking away, verify both the charger and bus charging indicators are active

Press the release button on the connector once
Wait until the charger has powered down. You will hear an audible signal indicating that the process is complete, and the charge port will unlock the connector
Remove the connector from the charging port on the bus and return the connector to the holster on the charger
Coil up the cord to prevent accidental damage. Never leave the connector out in the open or on the ground
